doubting
another 10 miles today to get my miles in for the week. i am really starting to doubt whether or not i have the stamina to run this 1/2 marathon. i have only had the opportunity to do treadmill running and i am beat today. oh well. i am hoping as the date gets closer that it is just nerves.

longest ever
i was only supposed to run 9 and hit the wall at about 6.5, but when 9 finally rolled around, i bumped it down to 5 mph and ran until i got 10 in. i’ll probably do the same thing next week to get 11 in. either way, though, my feet are throbbing.

i love running. calves are sore, i have a blister or two, but when i run, i feel no pain… only my heart beating, my feet hitting and the only thing that is on my mind is my next breath.

another run
i am starting to feel my endurance getting higher. it is a great feeling. i mixed this one up with increasing the speed by .1 every minute for 10 minutes, holding at 7 mph for 5 minutes, then back to 6. every four minutes, i would bump it up to 8 for one minute, then back to 6 for four. the last 10 or 12, i held it at 6 mph. it makes the workout go faster, especially on the treadmill.
